Emmy is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Government and minoring in information science and inequality studies. She first joined the Roosevelt Institute in spring of 2017, and has previously served as the President, Senior Policy Chair, and Director of Domestic Policy. Emmy is interested in data-driven policymaking and how to design effective policy solutions for difficult social problems. This past summer, she interned for Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan on Capitol Hill. She has also previously worked for political consulting firm SKDKnickerbocker, as well as conducted research on the US think tank landscape. Outside of Roosevelt, Emmy likes reading self-help books and perfecting her snickerdoodle cookie recipe.
