Scott is a sophomore studying Industrial and Labor Relations in the ILR School. He is interested in organized labor, economic development, and the transition to a 21st century workforce. He joined the Center for Economic Policy at the Roosevelt Institute in Fall 2020. When not scrolling on Twitter, Scott is likely in a Cornell Speech and Debate Society meeting, rooting for a New York sports team, or working on NYC environmental policy for TREEage.
The nation’s collective bargaining laws do not adequately respond to modern challenges. In a post-COVID-19 economy, sectoral bargaining must be considered to help restore economic and social equality.
